Terms for SmartKidz at Home.

1. Adult account and learner eligibility

The Home Studio must be created and managed by a parent, guardian or other adult who is authorised to direct the learner’s home education. A child may use learner mode only under that adult-managed account and consent.

2. Educational role

SmartKidz at Home is a planning and learning support service. It does not register a household for home education, replace the adult’s legal responsibilities or guarantee an academic outcome. Curriculum references are provided as planning context; SmartKidz is not affiliated with or endorsed by ACARA.

3. Trial and subscription

• The Home product begins with a fourteen-day free trial and does not require a card at signup.
• After the trial, the Home price is AUD $14.99 per month or AUD $119.99 per year unless a displayed promotion or future notified price applies.
• Choosing a plan during the trial does not intentionally remove unused trial time.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel; paid access continues until the end of the current billing period unless law requires otherwise.

4. Riley and AI-supported content

Riley and generated materials may contain errors. The adult must use their judgement before relying on generated guidance or assigning generated work. Riley is not a substitute for professional educational, medical, psychological or safeguarding advice.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not share the adult account outside the authorised household.
• Do not attempt to bypass learner boundaries, safety systems, rate limits or access controls.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful or unrelated personal information.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer or use the service to train another AI system.

6. Intellectual property and curriculum attribution

SmartKidz owns its platform and original materials. Australian Curriculum material is used under applicable ACARA attribution and Creative Commons terms where stated. SmartKidz modifications and presentation do not imply ACARA endorsement.

7. Availability, cancellation and liability

The service may change as it develops. Consumer guarantees and rights under Australian law are not excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, other liability is limited as described in the service-wide terms.
