SmartKidz at Home is designed to work across phones, tablets and desktops, with keyboard access, visible focus, reduced-motion support and learner preferences that can reduce visual and reading load.

1. Reading and display

  • Optional read-aloud and adjustable voice speed where available.
  • Text sizing, spacing and easy-read font preferences.
  • Layouts that reflow without requiring horizontal scrolling at supported screen sizes.

2. Focus and sensory comfort

  • A focused learner mode that keeps adult planning and account controls out of view.
  • Reduced-motion behaviour that follows the device preference.
  • Calmer presentation options and clear, predictable next actions.

3. Input and navigation

  • Keyboard-operable navigation with visible focus indicators.
  • Touch targets designed for comfortable mobile and tablet use.
  • Text input remains available when optional voice input is not appropriate.

4. Tell us what is not working

Accessibility is ongoing work. If a part of SmartKidz at Home blocks your household, email [email protected] with the page, device and what you were trying to do. We will use that detail to investigate.
